Course: Kids Kayak School
For kids aged 10-13!4 Dates to choose from:
Choose June, July, or August. (4 Tuesdays plus the Saturday following)
Curriculum:
1st Tuesday-10am-12noon--Kayaking skills/safety/short tour
2nd Tuesday-10am-2pm--Coastal ecology/Kayak Games
3rd Tuesday-10am-2pm-----Kayak Rescues/kayak-fishing trip
4th Tuesday-10am-4pm-Mini trip and BBQ.
5th session (Saturday 9am-2pm)5 hour mini expedition with BBQ afterwards. Parents are invited to the BBQ/music.
Subway meals/bottled water included at all sessions.
These sessions emphasize paddling skills, kayak-tripping, cooperation, fitness, and respecting the natural environment....and of course, safety.
Single and double kayaks used.
Spaces limited...preregistration recommended.
