Join one of our 3-Day Whale Route trips in June, and experience the rugged beauty of St. Margaret's Bay in all her glory. You'll spend your days exploring the many islands coastal inlets of the bay, while falling asleep at night to the sound of lapping waves. Our extended route for this tour circles a popular migratory route for whales. It doesn't get much better than this! The trip includes a guide, kayaks, kayak equipment and all meals. Sea Sun Kayak opens weekends in May from 9am-5pm and other days on demand. Remember to book ahead! Call us if the weather looks inclement and be sure to dress for the weather.

Already, plans are underway for some distinct changes that should make 2010 a great season. Sea Sun now offers a 5 hr intro to sea kayaking, a 24 hour (overnight) adventure tour that makes a great weekend get-away, and an improved website for easier access to our information. Spring is a great time to brush up on your kayaking skills. Get yourself polished up and ready to be in full swing when the summer hits. Sea Sun offers a full range of Paddle Canada Kayak Skills Training Courses as well as shorter duration Sea Sun training. Use this time to get up to speed!

With the successful sale of Sea Sun wrapped up in January 2010, the new owners are now looking ahead to the 2010 season. Rob Girard, the founder and original owner of Sea Sun, will continue to oversee staff and operations for the coming season, while the new owners use this time to transition into the company. During the transition, extra effort will be placed on ensuring that the high standards of safety and quality established by Rob (and which have made Sea Sun such a success!) will continue not only through the 2010 season, but through many more to come.
