Our Friendly Staff:

Members of the "Sea Team" are... accomplished/certified Sea Kayakers. No matter who your GI (Guide/Instructor) is, you can rest assured that all are trained in Wilderness First Aid and CPR, have completed approved Paddle Canada instructor & guide training... and are very friendly!

 

Charles Cook:

Charles CookCharles graduated Sea Sun's Guide Training school in 2004 and his relaxed demeanor and confidence make him a great well-rounded guide.

Fred Stillman:

Fred StillmanFred took his first guide training course from Sea Sun Kayak in 1999 and has been leading sea kayaking tours in the area since then. With over 4000 hours leading day and multi-day trips, he still gets excited to take people exploring the secret coves and the area's intersting history, flora and marine wildlife. "Each day is different in it's own way, this place is in my heart, I can't wait to show people around" - Fred Certifications: Paddle Canada Guide Certification, Red Cross WRFA, Team Building Essentials.

John Hartling:

John HartlingJohn is Sea Suns office manager and lead guide/ Paddle Canada instructor. He been an avid kayaker for over 15 years and loves to share the beauty of the sea with everyone that joins him on a tour.

Michel Lamoureaux:

MIchelMichel graduated from Sea Sun's Guide Training School in 2005 and has joined Sea Sons troops!Now Michel is one of Sea Sun's most dedicated guides.... Ask for Michel-especially if French is your first language!

Paul Pilon:

Paul PilonPaul is an avid sea kayaker and tripping enthusiast. Paul took a Paddle Canada course from Sea Sun and hasn't looked back. Join him on one of our extended travels along our scenic coastline this season.

Rob Girard:

Rob GirardRob is Sea Sun's Head Guide and staff trainer and has been with Sea Sun since it first started in 1995. Some of his favorite places to kayak are without doubt: The Cape Breton Coastline! Join him on some of our specialized clinics this summer.

Zack Saunders:

Zach is the source of the youthful energy and exuberance that complements Sea Suns years of experience so well. After graduating from the Guide Training Program with WRFA and Paddle Canada Level 1 skills certification Zach spent last season guiding in St. Margaret’s Bay, Prospect and Cape Breton. In addition to being a student at Dalhousie Zach is also a certified Paddle Canada Flatwater instructor and a wannabe surf kayaker. Ask about his selection of homemade breads!
